Notes
Police motorcycles passed by to keep the walkways clear (kind of counterintuitive, no?) and their sirens can be heard on occasion bwooping when people got in their way. A woman with shakers also walked by during But Anyway and added some of her own percussion.

the show was awesome, as if free shows could suck..... the cops sucked mad ass, do they even know what a show is?!

This was a great show. I camped out near the roped off front section for about a half hour and then me and my buddies booked to the front as soon as they opened it up. There were rumored to be about 25,000 people at the show, but I figure its a high estimate. The opening act, Guy Davis, was amazing as well, if anyone happened to tape his set they should definitely throw it up on etree. Anyway, the sound on this recording is top notch and is definitely worth a listen whether you happened to be there or not. Kudos to the city of New Haven for a great idea and even better execution.
